Brand Guidelines
Consistent brand presentation helps us build recognition and trust. These guidelines ensure Syntave is represented clearly and consistently across all media.
The Name
Syntave — pronounced /sɪnˈteɪv/ — is a compound of syn (together, as in synthesis) and tave (from octave, as in harmony and range). The name reflects our mission: synthesizing intelligence across systems, disciplines, and scales.
Syntave is not related to synthwave, the electronic music genre and visual aesthetic inspired by 1980s pop culture. Syntave is an AI infrastructure and technology company. The phonetic similarity is coincidental.
Logo
Our logo consists of two elements: the icon mark and the wordmark. Both are designed to work together or independently. The icon uses a geometric pixel-cut in the “y” character, representing the intersection of discrete computation and continuous intelligence.

Logo Usage
- Always use the provided logo files. Do not recreate, trace, or modify.
- Maintain clear space equal to the height of the “S” around all sides.
- On dark backgrounds, use the white version (inverted). On light backgrounds, use the black version.
- Minimum size: 28px for the icon, 120px for the wordmark.
- Do not apply effects (shadows, gradients, rotations) to the logo.
Color Palette
Syntave uses a strict monochrome palette. No accent colors, no gradients, no neon. The absence of color is a deliberate design choice — it communicates precision, clarity, and focus on substance over decoration.

Typography
Our primary typeface is Geist, designed by Vercel. It is used across all digital touchpoints — website, documentation, and product interfaces. Geist was chosen for its geometric clarity, excellent readability at small sizes, and modern character that aligns with our design philosophy.
Geist Bold
Geist Regular
Geist Mono — for code and technical content
Voice and Tone
Our writing reflects our engineering culture: precise, confident, and helpful without being promotional. We never use buzzwords, superlatives, or marketing fluff. Every sentence should earn its place.
Principles
- Clear over clever: No wordplay, puns, or metaphors. Say what you mean directly.
- Concise over verbose: Short sentences, short paragraphs. Remove every unnecessary word.
- Active over passive: “The SDK handles authentication” not “Authentication is handled by the SDK.”
- Specific over vague: Use data. “Processes 1,000 requests per second” not “high performance.”
- Structured over dense: Headings, lists, and tables help readers scan.
